Android App Video Review: Superbrothers Sword & Sworcery

It’s not often at all that a game like Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery comes along. Not only did it manage to innovate while being retro, but it also gained a massive following of people despite all its experimental game design and visual style. SS&SEP was a game changer when it released for iOS in early 2011, and we finally have it on Android. As if to tempt fate or spit in the face of it, it was actually released by developers Capybara Games to Google Play on December 21st, 2012! Fun facts for you.

The core of Superbrothers is exploration. It’s a retro modern point and click adventure game, with occasional bouts of simple combat. This game was very clearly inspired by the broader design strokes of the legendary adventure Download the free Appolicious Android app
