Android App Video Review: Pinball Deluxe

Video Review

Pinball machines used to be all over the place and if you are lucky, you can still find them in some restaurants or at the arcade. Deluxe Pinball for the Android platform is looking to recreate the fun of the classic machines on your mobile phone.

The game comes with three separate tables to pick from and each has its own, unique feel. The first table offers a very simple experience that beginners can try while the next two have more of a complex strategy involved to get the high score. Players can compete across the globe for the high score, or just try to beat their own top score.

The controls for the game weren’t amazing on my Nexus One and too often I would have the paddles glitch and get stuck. The physics in the game were decent and ultimately made it feel close to the real thing.

The game is available for free which inevitably means you are going to have ads. While the ads never obstruct your game, it would have been nice for the option to disable them with a paid version. Definitely try it out and see if it is for you.
