AYI lets you search through singles in your area, see photos, read profiles and more – everything you need to find a potential date without having to head out to bars and other singles hangouts for random encounters. The app makes it easy to discover people near you with similar interests, and to interact with them through the dating services to chat, flirt, or whatever else. The app provides you with matches, including people who have indicated that they like you, and lets you sync with your Facebook account so you can skip having to fill out lengthy forms. Fieldrunners 2 ($2.99)

What’s it about? A well-loved tower defense franchise on both Android and iOS, Fieldrunners 2 again puts you in the role of a commander, setting up defenses to stop diabolical and invasive soldiers.

What’s cool? Strategic use of powerful towers is key to survival in Fieldrunners 2. The mechanics are pretty standard – enemies run through trenches toward your base, and it’s your job to line those paths with guns, missile launchers, flamethrowers and other weapons. How you lay out your towers (and which you choose to use) is key to victory, since you’ll deal with a variety of different militaryforces, from standard soldiers to fast-moving vehicles and powerful, hard-to-kill tanks. You can also take on the game’s challenge levels, which stretch across three different game modes and require you to think strategically in a whole different way.
