There’s a lot to owning a pet, from health concerns, behavioral issues and just general ideas for making your pet’s life more comfortable. Here are some apps I use when I need that extra little bit of help.
Purina Pet Health
A good app for keeping your furry little friend’s health and wellness info all in one place. Store vet information, shot records and much more right at your fingertips.
Animal Doctors – Pet Health
Right now this app is only useful for dog owners, but it has some great resources. There are some useful how to videos, articles and even a growth chart.
Pet Master Free
Another great app to store and keep track of your dog’s appointments and medical history. Great for remembering appointments, medication and grooming needs. Very easy to use and good user interface
Pet First Aid
We don’t often think of learning first aid for pets, but if you have a pet, you know they are like family. This is a cool app to have with informative videos and step by step first aid instructions. Great to have if you go hiking or camping with your pet.
Tagg—The Pet Tracker™
Great idea if you have a dog that is a “runner.” You have to buy separate hardware for this, the tracker, that attaches to the collar, but once you do you can manually track your pet’s whereabouts.
