I am into fitness and health and these are some of the apps I’ve tried to keep me on target!
Calorie Counter – MyFitnessPal
Hands down this is the best free weight loss app. It had a huge database of foods and exercises you can use, plus you can ADD to that database. You can track by any metrics you want (goals, nutrients, etc.) It’s incredibly easy to use – the interface is the bomb for entering foods into your diet journal or exercise. Plus there is a website with additional support available. Recommend.
Instant Heart Rate
This is a really cool free heart rate monitor app. You put your finger in front of the camera and hold it there for 10 seconds and the app tells you your heart rate. It’s accurate, it’s quick, and it’s easy to use.
This free app tracks your progress for walking, running, biking, and other activities. You can track calories burnt over time, distance (even using GPS), and other metrics. It is a great motivator for exercise because of how neatly it tracks (plus you can port that to Facebook or your website so others can keep you on track).
Daily Ab Workout FREE
This is an awesome app! It gives you a different 5 minute ab workout every day – and they all have videos!
Virtuagym Fitness – Home & Gym
This free app has full workouts that you can do at home or at the gym. It has very clear instructions including 3D demos. Very nice – except it could use more workouts!
