Angry Birds and other top Android Games of the Week

Angry Birds landed on the Android Market, bringing another big game title to mobile users.  Already popular with iPhone users, Angry Birds continues to expand the marketplace.  The Labor Day holiday also brought some discounts for Namco and Glu Games.

Aurora Feint is making another big move, with plans for a real-time, multiplayer iPhone-to-Android development platform.  Given the growth in mobile gaming and the recent announcement of real-time multiplayer options on Apple’s iOS, Aurora Feint’s progress will help the industry as a whole.

Mahjong Logic has forged a deal with Cozygames, combining the game platforms’ efforts.  This will broaden access for Android gamers, as the move suggests more focused attention on Google’s mobile market.
