Android App Video Review: Squibble

Feb 8, 2011

I’ve mentioned before Android’s surprising lack of platforming games and now it looks like I’m about to eat my words. Squibble is one of many platformers recently released for Android phones and it looks to be one of the more entertaining ones.

The goal of the game is to escape from your prison created by a scientist who stole you from your home. You happen to have the stickiest tentacles known to man and can use them to stick to walls and slingshot your way to safety. The game progressively grows harder as you are introduced to new enemies and plenty of pitfalls. You need to play through 20 different levels to eventually reach your home in the sea.

The game ended up being quite a fun experience and the physics offered some addicting gameplay. Shooting Squibble across a map never got old. If you’ve been yearning for a fun platformer to play through, definitely check out Squibble. It has plenty of fun gameplay, awesome physics, and three different difficulties to choose from.
