Fans of Zynga’s uber-popular social word game, Words With Friends, will be delighted to discover that it works just as well on Honeycomb-based tablets as it does on Android smartphones.

Essentially a Scrabble clone, Words With Friends lets you play up to 20 different opponents simultaneously with its straightforward crossword turn-by-turn gameplay. Challenge your friends or get instantly matched with a random opponent. While you’re playing, you can use in-game messaging to chat, and handy notifications will let you know when it’s your turn to play.

Words With Friends is a perfect pick-up-and-play title because it lets you operate at your own pace with as many opponents as you wish. At the same time, it’s fun to challenge your friends for bragging rights, and it’s classic, word-making gameplay should keep those brain cells well and truly taxed.
