Your Android Honeycomb tablets is a pretty sophisticated piece of kit. If it’s rocking a dual-core processor, this simple app can help you keep track of how much usage each core is getting.

The app is tiny and installs quickly. Once launched, you can choose to keep it in your status bar permanently so your CPU usage can be viewed quickly. If you find there’s an app that seems to be chugging-along slowly, or a live wallpaper that takes up a lot of system resources, Tablet CPU Usage Monitor will let you know the load on the processor and whether you’re running out memory.

Though simple and only possessing limited functionality, this app does exactly what it sets out to and does it efficiently. With different color notifications available, configurable update intervals, and the ability to start automatically at boot time, it’s still a useful app for the tablet owner who needs to keep track of everything.
