Android App Tablet Review: SCRABBLE Free

Sep 16, 2011

SCRABBLE Free is a timeless classic that is now available on your Android Tablet.

This digital version of Scrabble is up there with the best. Players can adjust the online multiplayer settings to play with random strangers or friends. This is all made easier with EA’s Origin service. All the features of a Scrabble game are here to keep you wordsmiths busy.

The inclusions of a dictionary and a teacher option definitely put this one ahead of the competition. Although I did run into several spots of strange lag and the game randomly shut down on me a couple times, for the most part it worked well and was a lot of fun. The advertisements are extremely intrusive in this game though, which makes me want a paid version.

If you can stand the ads, SCRABBLE Free is a great app for any Scrabble fan with a tablet device.
