Live music shows are happening all around you, and JamBase makes it easy to find them on your Android tablet. The app lets you search your area to find upcoming shows and keep track of your favorite artists to see where and when they’re playing next.

You’ll need a free JamBase account to use the app, but once you have one, the app uses your tablet’s built-in GPS capabilities to search for upcoming shows, their dates/times and locations. Then, you can save your favorite bands for later so you can see when their shows are coming up in the future.

JamBase also lets you buy tickets and save concert dates to your Google Calendar, so you won’t forget when they’re happening. It has a lot of biographical information on offer about artists, it’s easy to navigate and 100% free.

If you’re a big fan of live music, JamBase should be a permanent fixture on your tablet.
