The third-person 3D football simulator Backbreaker THD brings challenging football gameplay to tablet big screens, complete with amped-up graphics and a mix of gyroscope and touchscreen gameplay.

Backbreaker isn’t a full-on football game, but rather a series of small-scale challenges. As a running back, you’ll face down defenders in a sprint for the end zone. Dodging defenders with jukes and spins earns you points, and stringing together successful combos means a bonus.

With a couple of game modes and online leaderboards, Backbreaker is a fun and simple game with lots of customization for players. It looks great on the big screen and makes excellent use of tablet technology. It will also take a while for football fans to master.
