Also in the media sector is TED, an Android app dedicated to delivering presentations from the world’s most fascinating people. Roku also made a splash this week with an app to control your set-top box, while OverSkreen’s floating browser makes the Android tablet function much more like your PC.
Designed to work with Android 4.0 devices, Camera ICS is the latest photo app to hit the market. Add color effects to your photos, modify your photo settings and take panoramic photos or time-lapse videos (for tablets only). Camera ICS’s biggest selling point is its optimization as an “improved version of the official camera app” on Ice Cream Sandwich devices, giving you a few more options than you get with the default tool. And as a bonus, Camera ICS has added support for Honeycomb devices as well.
